Afternoon Hot Toddy

Nope it’s not vodka. This little toddy is healthy. It’s chicken bone broth. I make it in my Instant Pot. I save all my cooked chicken bones from meals and keep in the freezer. I get about a gallon of them and toss them into my Instant Pot pressure cooker. You could use a slow cooker or stove top pressure cooker. I add half a medium onion, a few cloves of garlic , a few peppercorns and about a teaspoon of sea salt. I fill my Instant Pot to the fill line, put the top on, lock it in place, close the steam valve, set for maximum pressure and press theautomatic button. It cooks for 240 minutes. Let it steam down on its own. I then strain it. The bones become very soft and make excellent dog food. My dogs love it.

Cheers!
