Beef Liver Pate


I know beef liver or liver of any kind is not for everyone. But it’s good for almost everyone nutritionally speaking. Chicken liver pate or beef liver pate is probably one of my favorite ways to eat liver and trust me I can think of several delicious recipes for any kind of liver. This one is easy. You can eat it plain or with cheese chips as a carnivore or use it as a dip with veggies for Keto.

Cut up one pound beef liver into about 1 inch pieces
Sauté 1/2 cup chopped onion and
One clove chopped garlic
In Two tablespoons butter on low heat till lightly caramelized
Add -
Liver
2 pinches of salt
1/4 tsp turmeric
1/4 tsp black pepper
Sauté till liver is just done. Don’t overcook

Chop two hard boiled eggs in food processor
Add liver mixture
1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons butter
Process till just smooth. Taste for salt. Add more if necessary. Don’t overprocess

Put it in air tight container in fridge for a few hours. If you like, once it is firm roll it into a log with wax paper. Keeps a week in fridge.
